a G' Vibration
The Beach Boys album, "Pet Sounds" was ranked number 2 for the Rolling Stones Top 500 greatest Albums of all time. The album alone is a great album with memorable single that will be remembered for Century’s to come. The overall sound of Pet Sounds was sort Psychedelic/Pop Rock/Surf feel. The album Pet Sounds was the first album recorded without any music contribution by the Beach Boys. Instead, the Beach boys solely were used for Vocal and harmonies throughout the time recording. In the time of recording of pet sounds, Brian Wilson had a vision from the start and simply the process became just putting it all together and using the Studio as an instrument for recording.
The single Good Vibration was one on the Singles main successful hit, Brain said the single was summation of his musical vision, a harmonic convergence of imagination and talent to which the production valued original songwriting and spirituality. In an Rolling Stones article read The Beatles made a point of echoing them on Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band – an acknowledgment that Pet Sounds was the inspiration for the Beatles’ masterpiece. In the Mist of still building the image for the Group’s upcoming album, the photo shoot was shoot at the San Diego Zoo. The photos of The Beach Boys feeding the goats was a paying homage to the album's chosen title, Pet Sounds.
The Album alone was pure magic when it came to the harmonies in the Music that were recorded beautifully and mixed so well. One the best things I like about the album is the avant-garde strings and horn arrangements supported by the unorthodox instruments, bicycle bells, and the percussion. In my opinion, this album set the start for artist to start thinking out of the Box and get more creative with music. Very influential upon its release, it immediately praised the band into the top level of Pop innovators.
